A large bone will last just as long, plus your dog won't swallow the small rubber pieces that it chews up. Rating: - Kong Extreme Dog Toy I purchased 2 Kong toys for my medium & large labradors. They both like the toys and play with it as long as there are treats inside. Once they get the treats out they stop playing with it. The rubber is really hard so I doubt they'll be able to chew it up. I think this is a really good product and it helps keep the dogs busy when we are away. When she was about 1 she was able to chew the edge of the opening off, we replaced that one 3 months ago and the new one is fine so far.
