I wish they'd do this one on DVD, because MArty takes the classic Legion Etrangre film (Gary Cooper 1939) and trashes it the way Mel Brooks did "Blazing Saddles" on the Western Genre..... Marty Feldman is a fogotten comic in the vein of Laurel and Hardy or Buster Keaton... When he plays second fiddle.... you laugh a lot!!!!!! DO IT IN DVD......PLEASE!!!

This is a hilarious spoof. Don't forget the scene where Marty Feldman is placed in the Gary Cooper version. It also has several great sight gags. I am looking forward to this being available on DVD.

This film has several hilarious bits: the used camel salesman, clips from the old BEAU GESTE films, and Jack the Ripper ("We ask no questions here."), and Feldman's tribute to silent comedy.

If you have an interest in British comic talent (yes there is some) then just about all British comedians do a cameo here. The original movie cops a hit as well and why not? This movie is best viewed with normality suspended and ... Read More
